He recently started a blog talking about his theater designs. He posted about his set design for Into the Woods, which I'll link here, because there is no way I can adequately summarize that, but I wanted to post a few pictures from it because it's a fairy tale, it was a fabulous set, and I totally helped paint it :)

How fun! I loved being in drama when I was in high school. Painting the sets and helping design sets was great. :)
ReplyDeleteAs a member of this amazing theatre family, I can testify: There is absolutely NO exaggeration going on in this post. Oh, his sets are EPIC!!! Visiting his sets is like going to a museum, so seriously, visit his blog for a taste of the awesome.
ReplyDeleteAlso, when we bleed drama, it's in the good theatrical way, not the diva, give-me-whatever-I-want-way. Just to clarify. :D :D
I saw this play a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Nice post! :) My husband is an art teacher and he works with one of my good friends in the Drama program at his school. He designs the sets. I'll have to share this with him.
