Alright Fairy Tale fans! My last giveaway comes from author Regina Doman! She has generously offered a copy of any one the books in her fairy tale series to one lucky winner!
Her series, A Fairy Tale Retold, covers several different fairy tale favorites. With five books in the series, Regina's stories retell the 1001 Tales, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Snow White and Rose Red and The Twelve Dancing Princesses.
These books have been on my wishlist for a long time. I haven't read any of them yet, but I've been eyeing them for over 3 years now.
These books are each set in the modern world and use modern teenagers to tell these fairy tales.

Regina has been generous enough to offer the book of choice to one lucky winner within the US, UK, Europe, or Australia. And, if the winner is from the US, the book of your choice will be signed!
To enter- Leave a comment with which book you would pick if you are the winner! And, why not tell us which fairy tale you would love to see a retelling of next!AND head on over to The Book Rat for an interview with Regina!!

I would choose The Midnight Dancers, because it's my favorite fairy tale EVER and I never get sick of retellings. Plus, it just looks AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteThe Midnight Dancer! It's not my favorite fairytale( that would have to be The Wild Swans) but it looks AWESOME. I would love another retelling of The Wild Swans. There are already a few out there! I just need to read another. I really loved The Goose Girl, so that would be a neat one to see. I really love uncommon fairytales and any retellings you can find.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, I don't know what to pick! I think I'd go with either Midnight Dancers (I LOVE retellings of the 12 dancing princesses) or 40 Cyber Thieves because that sounds really cool and different. I don't know much about 1001 Nights, but it sounds clever!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to see a modern retelling of Tam Lin, and I think The Pied Piper would be really interesting modernized as well. That said, I'd love pretty much any of the less well known (aka not disney-fied) fairy tales.
Oooh, tough choice...I'm kind of an equal opportunity retelling reader, but I'm thinking I'd choose Waking Rose. There are so many fairy tales I'd love to see more retellings of! Particularly The Snow Queen. It's one of my all-time favorites, and I know there are some lovely retellings, but I'd love to see more.
ReplyDeleteThis is really hard to choose lol!! Seriously, I'd love to read them all because they look & sound so beautiful! :D
ReplyDeleteOkay, I would pick Black as Night as it looks gorgeous and I'm so curious tee hee
As for a retelling, for some reason I've always thought The Princess & The Pea was such a neat little fairy tale, I'd be majorly curious to see how someone would *reinvent* it!
And thank you for such a sweet giveaway, too <3

First off, I absolutely love ALL of these books!!
ReplyDeleteThe first book I read was The Midnight Dancers. When I was finished with it I was so overjoyed to find out that there were more just waiting for me to read them!
:D Gah.. ok so hard to choose which one. Each of them have so many different things I love about them. (Which I won't list. ;) )
Hhmmmm.... Okay, I'd have to say I'd choose The Shadow of The Bear.
And a fairy-tale I'd like to see retold... definitively Rapunzel! :) Now that would be an interesting retelling. :D
Oh, I have never heard of these before!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to start with the first in the series!
Hmm, I should say Little Mermaid because, um, mermaids, buuuuut...how about something not done as frequently. The Snow Queen is another favorite!
I would love to win any of them! I should probably start with the first one in the series though since I haven't read it yet. As for the fairy tale to be re-told next? I'd love another Wild Swans re-telling; there aren't nearly enough!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win any of them, but particularly The Midnight Dancers as I think that's based on a fairy-tale I've never heard.
ReplyDeleteAnother fairy-tale to be retold? I'd like another version of Rumplestiltskin.
I would pick Waking Rose.
ReplyDeleteA fairy tale I've always liked was Cinderella. :)

A part of me really wants to pick "The Midnight Dancers" because of my facination with the 12 Dancing Princess, but Alex O'Donell and the 40 Cyber Thevies has me hooked from the title, so that's the one I'd go with.
ReplyDeleteI would love to read them all, but BLACK AS NIGHT would be my first choice. My favorite Fairy Tale is BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and I am most fortunate in that it has inspired many books.

No need to enter me, but I just wanted to stop by. I love how all the covers are consistent! Very cool. There are so many fairy tales that have been re-told, but I really find Red Riding Hood intriguing, even though it has already been re-told.
ReplyDeleteWow all of these books look great. I would say that the Alex O Donell looks the most intruiging. I would love for there to be more retelling of the goose girl.
ReplyDeleteI would chose Alex O'Donnell and the 40 Cyber Theives because it seems different; most fairy tales center around girls and the love story, but this one seems to have a male protagonist in a contemporary setting with lots of mystery and suspense.
